In the U.S $15.14 billion is spent on console games each year, $4.15billion is spent on PC games, $2.78 billion on online game portals, $1.1 billion on mobile games, and $2.12 billion on massively multilayer online game.

The people who do this kind of things are mostly  video gamers who are living in a dark fantasy world. Video games are more realistic and bloodier then ever.

who invented Video games

William Higinbotham created the first video game ever in 1958. His game, called "Tennis for Two," was created and played on a Brookhaven National Laboratory oscilloscope. However  In 1962, Steve Russell invented Spacewar! was the first game intended for computer use. Russell used a MIT PDP-1 mainframe computer to design his game. 
Nolan Bushnell and Ted Dabney in 1975tarted Atari ( a term from the Japanese game go) video games have change trough out the years. When video games where berry first created they where active and sport games didn't have that much technology. Now in 2013 and 2014 we only see most video games with violence and way more technology.
