William Higinbotham created the first video game ever in 1958. His game, called "Tennis for Two," was created and played on a Brookhaven National Laboratory oscilloscope. However  In 1962, Steve Russell invented Spacewar! was the first game intended for computer use. Russell used a MIT PDP-1 mainframe computer to design his game. 
Nolan Bushnell and Ted Dabney in 1975tarted Atari ( a term from the Japanese game go) video games have change trough out the years. When video games where berry first created they where active and sport games didn't have that much technology. Now in 2013 and 2014 we only see most video games with violence and way more technology.

          The people that are in favor of  video games being beneficial say that it has a lot of positive influence for their kids. Likewise, some scientist that study the brain of kids playing collaborative video games say that video games are good for certain teens. For example, experiments show that video games can improve the ability of a teen. Video games  make players active problem solvers. They also help the players think harder and open their brain. In the article “Are Video Games A Brain Drain Or A Way To Train Your Brain” says that more than half of teens play interactive video games with other people who are in the same room the players work as a team they solve problems as group.

          Even the scientists know that video games are harmful for teens. They have information and evidence about how games influence the brain of a teen. Did you know that by playing to many video game’s your brain releases a chemical called dopamine. The result is that the brain is hardwired which means that your brain longs for more video games time so teens get so addicted to play video games 24/7. By these studies of the brain shows why about 8.5% of teens develop and addiction to video games. These teens are more likely to skip school, receive poor grades, and have social problems.I know you might be thinking how video games can affect kids in receiving poor grades. In addition, when teens get addicted to video games they forget  about schoolwork or any kind of work they only think of playing the video games. Some of the teens spend more time with video games than with friends because it  allows them to escape into a fantasy world. One that happens it is difficult for some teen to land back into reality.

   The law of California says that video games that contain violent scenes should not be sell to kid only to teens that are 18 and up, However the parents buy the games for there kids. In my opinion teens should be protected from violent video games. I truly believe that the can cause a lot of damage to the brain of a teen. A lot of teens who play video games nowadays, i’ve seen few became more violent from playing these games. But many have developed some reality issues. For example when the layer cant kill some one from the video games they take out the anger they have inside on other people that kind of behavior seems to be one of the problems because the hurt other not just himself / herself. This means that teens addicted to video games show a bad side of himself/ herself and they bring the life of an addicted video-gamer outside the video games.

However, there are video games that contain violent scenes for teens and even adults. Video games are a fun activity for most players, but video games can also consume the player’s life.

* Video games are incredibly addictive and occupy their mind all day especially in school and that how some kid get low grades
* They have violent images which some kids often practice and can hurt themselves.
* Some pictures and fast movements can damage their eyes
* It leads to children's being lazy and not help around home or responding to their parents because they cant afford to leave the game or attend to any other things

* They are often hyper in their expressions or reactions this means that they can be really mad and aggressive
